RICHMOND – The Show-Me Green sales tax holiday – an optional break from collecting sales taxes on some items – will take place again this year, the City Council decided. The seven-day holiday takes place from April 19 through April 25.
RICHMOND – There will be no contested school board elections in April for three area school districts, but there will be city council elections. These districts reported no contests: • Excelsior Springs – Ricky Strack and Troy Snelling seek the two seats; • Richmond – Jon Dana and newomer Wesley Maxwell are running for two seats; and • Orrick – Mandy Floyd and newcomer Holly Vasmer seek the two seats.
