Richmond has returned to competition mode in high school track. After having no meets scheduled last week, the Spartans ran, jumped, vaulted and threw against other schools Wednesday at the Rob Hoefer Husker Invitational, staged by Lafayette County of Higginsville at Higginsville. The meet, which also featured middle school competition, had been originally scheduled for Tuesday but got postponed a day because of inclement weather.
