Quick, Smith, Harrison honored before HOF class

Like previous years, the 2026 Richmond Spartan Athletic Hall of Fame ceremony consisted of more than inducting standouts in the history of Richmond High School (RHS) sports. Before seven individuals and the 2003 varsity football team were inducted, two college-bound student athletes were recognized. The recent event, held in the high school commons area, included the Miss Ethel Kirkpatrick Spartan Spirit Award presentation, too. Brandon Quick, high school principal, introduced Isabella Smith and Nolan Quick as this year’s recipients of $1,000 scholarships, awarded by the Hall of Fame Committee. Smith plans to play women’s golf at North Central Missouri College, a Trenton-based, two-year school; and Nolan Quick plans to play men’s basketball at State Fair Community College in Sedalia.
