Ending school year well is important
This time of year, backpacks are getting heavy, reminder messages and communications from every school platform are overly abundant and everyone’s patience seems to be wearing thin.
The end of the school year is upon us and in its place come the plans and preparations for camps, summer school, summer jobs, church events, family reunions, concerts, baseball games, swimming lessons, summer projects, fishing outings, mowing and vacations.
As the 2025-2026 school year comes to a close, most of us want to fast-forward through these May days until we see the glorious June summer sun. However, after each and every school year, we owe it to our kids to finish the year strong and to teach our students the importance of finishing the academic year strong.
