Hash looks to move from post to perimeter at NCMC
Senior Emma Hash will soon play basketball at a new school – and will likely play a new position there.
Or rather, a different position than what she has played the past few seasons at Richmond High School (RHS).
As the Richmond News reported April 3, Hash has signed with the women’s program at North Central Missouri College (NCMC). In March, RHS held a signing ceremony for her.
“It went really well,” Hash recalled April 7. “All my coaches were there, and I was just very happy all my family could make it. It was very, very good.”
One reason Hash chose the Trenton-based junior college was because of its proximity to Richmond, she said. Another was its winning tradition. Per NCMC records, the women’s team has posted five straight 20win seasons and seven straight winning seasons overall. That stretch includes a 24-8 finish in 2025-26.
“Not only did I want to go play college basketball, but definitely for a good team,” Hash said. “I didn’t want to go to a team that wasn’t very good.”…
