Students at Orrick High School now have expanded access to hands-on science learning following a donation from a local organization. The Orrick Lions Club donated funds to purchase new microscopes for the school’s science department. The organization has a long history of supporting the Orrick School District through partnerships focused on student learning and classroom needs. According to Orrick High School Principal Seth Morton, the relationship between the school and the organization has been built over time through consistent communication and shared interest in student success. “The Lions Club is well known in our area for its generosity to the Orrick School District,” said Morton. “They have partnered with Orrick Schools many times and enjoy hearing about what is going on within the building.” That ongoing relationship allowed school officials to share program updates directly with Lions Club members, including highlights from the science department and student achievement…
