NO GO Richmond graduate Keyshaun Elliott didn’t suit up when Arizona State University played Duke University in the Sun Bowl. On Dec. 28, 2025, ArizonaSports.com listed the senior linebacker as among the Sun Devils “not expected to play” in the Dec. 31 NCAA Division I FBS showdown in El Paso, Texas, to prepare for the NFL draft. A few days later, SI.com and other media outlets confirmed Elliott was sitting out. Sans Elliott and other pro prospects, Arizona State lost 42-39. Arizona State finished 8-5. In sitting out, Elliott dropped from being the team leader in total tackles to second. He remained, however, the Sun Devils’ leader in total tackles for a loss with 14 and sacks with seven. Elliott is still expected to participate in the Panini Senior Bowl, slated for Jan. 31 in Mobile, Ala.
