Two school records fell when Hardin-Central competed in Class 1 state track and field competition May 17-18 at Jefferson City High School. By winning the boys 400-meter relay in 44.65 seconds, the foursome of Kaden McGinnis, Kalel Bowman, Denver Douglas and Brody Fifer broke the school record. It was the third straight meet for the Bulldogs to break the record and fifth this season, according to Hardin-Central coach Andrew Watson. In addition, McGinnis, Bowman, William Curtis and Fifer broke the school record in the 800 relay when they won that race in 1:31.52.
