Tim Schwarz

Timothy C. “Tim” Schwarz, 72, of Richmond passed away April 26, 2023, at North Care Hospice House at North Kansas City Hospital. Tim was born on Nov. 17, 1950, in Buffalo, N.Y., the son of Harry and Thelma (Fulton) Schwarz. He married Rhonda Lynn Schwarz on Jan. 28, 1983. She preceded him in death on Feb. 14, 1988. Then, he married Donna Falcone. They later divorced.

Survivors include: sons, Jamie (Tina) Windsor of Kansas City, Brian Coleman of Excelsior Springs, Jeffery Coleman of Richmond, Timothy (Elisha) Schwarz of Adrian and James Schwarz; daughters, Christina (Jason) Lagamba of Niagara Falls, N.Y., Jessica (Clinton) Huen of Wellington, Lea Falcone of Filmore, N.Y., and Nicole (Dane Templeton) Schwarz of Camden; sister, Velma Schwarz; 34 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Rhonda; son, Matthew Schwarz; and daughter, Shawna Falcone.

Tim was a man who loved raising kids and working hard. He was someone that would take you in, teach you and was just a genuine true friend. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone. He was a man of his word.

He raised kids for 50 years and was always ready to take on more. His passion was in being a great father and grandfather. He worked all the time and his joy was in his machines. He loved to joke around and could put a smile on anyone’s face. He also enjoyed drinking coffee, even when it was 100 degrees, and eating Casey’s donuts.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Timothy Schwarz Memorial Fund. Memorials can be dropped by or mailed to Thurman Funeral Home; 507 E. Main St.-P. O. Box 190; Richmond, MO 64085.

Visitation and funeral services will be held on Friday, May 5, at Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. and services to follow at 11.

In honor of Tim, the family suggests those attending wear red or black pocket shirts and jeans – his favorite attire.
