In February, five seniors will leave the Richmond boys wrestling program.
On Jan. 27, the Spartans honored that quintet (Kaleb Burk, Blake Logsdon, Zane Renfro, Wyatt Rice, Conner Teat) by staging Senior Night during a triangular with Lafayette County of Higginsville and Polo. They also staged their mat warming ceremony, with Renfro being named mat king and senior Jodi Robinson named mat queen.
As part of their senior sendoff, the Spartans swept the triangular, downing Lafayette County 46-30 and Polo 66-12. Here are some images from the competition at Richmond High School, captured by sports editor Shawn Roney.
