Richmond has its first tournament win of 2022 in varsity boys basketball. 

The Spartans opened the boys portion of the 28th annual Lawson Invitational Basketball Tournament by cruising past Trenton 77-21 Monday night, Jan. 10, at Lawson High School. They moved on to a winner's bracket semifinal, scheduled for 6:15 p.m. Thursday at Lawson High.
