The Spartans have rolled to double-digit wins to start the 2021 portion of their varsity boys basketball schedule. First, they romped past Lawson 65-48 Jan. 6 in a non-conference road meeting. Then, sparked by a 21-5 second quarter, they crushed Pleasant Hill 62-42 Jan. 8 at home in non-divisional Missouri River Valley Conference play, putting them at 7-1 with a four-game winning streak entering the Lawson Invitational Basketball Tournament.
