Three residents are vying for the one available seat on the Ray County Hospital and Healthcare Board. The candidates — Gretchen “Bush” Edwards, Jessica McMillan and Justin Wrisinger. To give voters insight into the new board members and their views on important subjects, they responded to a questionnaire from Richmond News. “There are no qualifications for anyone running for a board,” said Ray County Clerk Heather Graff-Maulsby. BACKGROUND INFORMATION Richmond News asked each candidate to list their age, address, marital status, number of children, highest grade completed, employer and relevant political experience. However, McMillan declined. Bush-Edwards – A Richmond native, she has 23 years’ experience in education. She is married to Brad Edwards and has two sons, Noah and Abram Edwards.
