While in search of a Richmond man at large last week, Richmond Police Department (RPD) responded to a wooded area on West Main Street after a caller described a man similar to that which police had posted online, in a gray hoodie running in the woods. Police requested the public’s assistance online to help find the subject at large, who was reportedly carrying a firearm. Although Liberty resident Brenden Keith Parsons, 39, was not the at-large criminal he was arrested and charged with misdemeanor resisting arrest after leading police on a chase. Once the call of someone who may be the suspect they were searching for was received, officers responded to the wooded area. According to Cpl. Cody Davis, officers ran in pursuit of the male suspect. “A male near Crooked River Meats whistled and yelled he’s running. I then observed a white male in a gray hoodie look back at me as he ran west on Short Street. I informed all units of the male and began running after him,” states the report,…
