Robinson case dismissed, and one continued
Eighth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Jon Don McGaugh took the bench for Ray County Judge Lori Baskins and overruled the state’s continuance request from week’s past. Now, one of the two cases against Justin Robinson, a 40-year-old Richmond man, was dismissed on Nov. 21 at the Ray Circuit Court Division.
His second case had been continued on Nov. 28. Previously, the state did not object to a filing by Robinson’s attorney, Robin Winn of Winn Law Firm LLC, requesting a continuance. Robinson’s next criminal setting hearing is scheduled for December 19 at 8:30 a.m.
Robinson has two cases totaling 18 felonies. His Jan. 30 case includes six counts of domestic assault, six counts of armed criminal action, and four counts of endangering the welfare of a child – creating substantial risk. His March 27 case includes two felonies – escape or attempted escape from confinement with a deadly weapon and second-degree assault.
