Richmond varsity girls basketball coach Kaylee Vantrump saw improvement in her Spartans defensively during their 36-25 Dec. 14 home loss to Summit Christian Academy. “Our defensive help was a whole different ballgame tonight,” Vantrump commented. “I mean, we were getting out, we were … fronting the post, we were putting (on) more ball pressure. We were talking to each other.
