When Orrick’s varsity boys basketball season ended Feb. 22 with a 69-53 loss to Braymer at Norborne in the Class 1 District 13 Tournament semifinals, the high school careers of “two key players” also ended, according to junior Logan Smith – Jaxon Miller and Jonathon Harris. “We’re going to miss them a lot,” Smith said. Miller, who surpassed 1,000 career points in November 2023, scored 20 points to pace Orrick in his high school finale, including 12 second-half points. He was among two Bearcats in double figures.
