LEXINGTON – When Trinidy Fisk and her fellow Spartans travelled on Feb. 10 to face Lexington in varsity girls basketball, the Richmond senior wanted more than a Missouri River Valley Conference (MRVC) East Division victory.
She wanted to break a 33-year-old record. And late in the fourth quarter, she did.
With 3 minutes, 11 seconds to play, Fisk splashed in a three-point shot – her ninth trey that night. The bucket broke a Richmond High School record for most treys in a girls game, set in 1990 by Patty Bowen, coach Kaylee Vantrump

Fisk finished with 10 three-pointers. She made her last one with less than 20 seconds left for the final points of Richmond’s 63-41 victory.
“After the Knob Noster game (Feb. 6), I knew that this was probably my last game to do it, so I needed to break it today,” Fisk said.
