Dual-threat Fifer leads Aggies past ’Cats
Brody Fifer is helping to change how undefeated Norborne Hardin-Central (NHC) attacks defenses in varsity 8-man football.

Officially, Fifer led the Aggies (4-0 overall) in rushing with 114 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries. But the Hardin-Central junior also completed 12 of 19 passes for 125 yards and three touchdowns, with one interception.
“In my time as a head coach, and before me, NHC has traditionally been a run-heavy team,” Aggies coach Andrew Watson stated Tuesday via email. “This year, Brody, our receivers and coaching staff have invested a lot of time in building up our passing game to help us be more explosive and balanced on that side of the ball. Now going into his junior year, Brody and a lot of our guys are reaching a point where they have played a lot of high school football now. This experience is showing up on the field, both mentally and physically.”
