Businesslike Aggies seek consistent physicality in homecoming clash
Amid all the pomp and circumstance of homecoming activities this week, the Aggies are being businesslike as they prepare to face Braymer/Breckenridge in varsity 8-man football at 7 p.m. Friday at Hardin-Central, according to Norborne Hardin-Central coach Andrew Watson.
“We’re just trying to treat it like we would any other week, trying to get our guys prepared. … We know Braymer … can chuck the ball,” Watson said Monday by phone. “They (have) got a great quarterback and receivers, so we’re just treating it like a game week, as much as we can.”
Besides preparing for Braymer/ Breckenridge’s passing attack, the Aggies are preparing to face a defense that, according to Watson, is blessed with athleticism.
“They (have) got a lot of good skill guys all over the field, so they can move and they can tackle well. … We (have) just got to come out and try to be as physical as we can,” he said.
