Aggies ‘picking up things faster’ at latest camp, Watson says

Of the three summers Norborne Hardin-Central (NHC) varsity coach Andrew Watson has led the Aggies’ 8-man football team camps, the first camp this summer has been the best, he said, in terms of comprehensiveness. The Aggies knew what to expect from the five-day morning camp, which concluded June 30 on the Hardin-Central practice field, according to Watson. “They’re picking up things faster, now that we’re really in a groove,” he commented. On average, 21 Aggies attended each day and displayed their gridiron knowhow, Watson estimated. Those attending included quarterbacks, and cousins, Zach Deitch and Brody Fifer. Overall, camp went well, Deitch and Fifer agreed. “We’ve definitely gotten better over the week – learning more stuff, getting better at not making any mistakes and just coming together as a team a lot more,” Deitch said June 30.
