Shelby Nicole Moore (Green), 33, of Richmond passed away unexpectedly June 6, 2026, in Jackson County.

There will be a celebration of life 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, June 20, at Green’s Automotive, located at 1012 W. Main Street, Richmond.

After graduating from Richmond High School, Shelby worked in home health as a CNA, as a clerk at O’Reilly Auto Parts, and as secretary and bookkeeper for TJ’s Agricultural Equipment Repair.

Shelby loved her family more than life itself. She was always quick to volunteer to prepare food for her Sunday afternoon extended-family dinners and game nights. There was no place she would rather be than surrounded by her family.

For Shelby, it was never too early to decorate for Christmas – a trait she inherited from her Shelby Moore

father.

Aside from her family, Shelby loved her two Corgis (baked potatoes), Suzie and Molly; outings with her children; and dinners with her sisters. She was an active mother who enjoyed going to her children’s soccer and baseball games, swimming and fishing with the family.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Sam and Gale Green; father-in-law Bruce Moore; maternal grandparent, Kenneth Elkins; niece, Emberlee Green; and nephew, William Davis.

Survivors include her two daughters, Adelyn Moore and Emersyn Moore; and son, Brayden Moore. Additional survivors include her husband of 15 years, Caleb Moore; and parents, Ed and Laura Green of Richmond.

She also is survived by her four siblings, Dustin Green (Jessica), Katlyn Green (Wyatt), Emily Green (Austin) and Bailey Smith (Dylan); maternal grandmother, Shirley Elkins; paternal grandmother, mother-in-law Maxine Moore and the Moore family. In addition, she leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews that she loved and cared for as her own.
