Alan Osborne

Alan Glen Osborne, 67, of Polo passed away peacefully on the evening of July 9, 2026, surrounded by his loving family and his three beloved dogs. Alan was preceded in death by his parents, Emory Glen Osborne and Josephine Edna (Milburn) Osborne; brothers, Jack D. Osborne and Steven E. Osborne; and nephew, Joseph G. Osborne.

He is survived by his brothers, Jonathan E. Osborne of Polo and Mark A. Osborne of Richmond; sisters, Linda J. Tait of Blackwood, N.J., and Sheila G. French (Bill) of Richmond; along with many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, who will forever cherish his memory.

Alan was a dedicated Walmart employee for 34 years and was known there for his hard work, warm smile and favorite saying: “I’m innocent.”

Outside of work, he enjoyed listening to his CD collection, trying different restaurants, attending demolition derbies, and above all, spoiling his dogs.

A kinder, more gentle soul could not be found. Alan will be forever missed.

A visitation was scheduled for 4-6 p.m. Thursday, July 16, at Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Richmond, 9502 Leathers Road.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 17, at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow the funeral at Woodlawn Cemetery in Richmond.

The arrangements are entrusted to Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Richmond. Website: www.hiddenvalleyfunerals. com.
