STILL MAKING IT RAIN Nolan Quick plans to continue raining three-point shots in organized basketball. Quick, who’s set to graduate high school Friday from Richmond, has signed to play for the men’s team at State Fair Community College in Sedalia. A ceremony to mark the occasion took place Monday in the Richmond High School gym. Additional coverage is scheduled for May 15. REPEATING THEMSELVES For the second time in a week, Richmond won seven varsity boys track and field events at a meet in Carrollton. Competing May 1 at the Missouri RiverValley Conference (MRVC)-East Division championship, the Richmond boys won five individual events and two relay races. Malikiah Tharp led the Spartans in individual victories with two, taking the 100- and 200-meter dashes. Richmond also got individual wins from Caige Castilleja in the high jump, Brice Dome in the triple jump and Nathan Nichols in the javelin.
