Ray County Museum set for new roof

Ray County commissioners approved a $39,560 bid to replace the museum roof, selecting a contractor based on material quality and warranty over a lowerpriced option. The decision followed a review of multiple bids and discussion of recent storm-related leaks at the museum, which commissioners said highlighted the need to protect the building and its contents. Presiding Commissioner Shelia Tracy said three bids were reviewed before selecting Weather Guard Roofing for the project.
