Drug Court offers second chances

After months of treatment, court appearances and personal challenges, two Ray County Drug Court participants completed the program, closing one chapter of their lives and beginning another grounded in recovery.
Alicia McCullough and Travis Sutton were recognized during a graduation ceremony, underscoring the Ray County Drug Court program’s focus on recovery rather than punishment. Through a structured process, including regular court appearances, treatment and ongoing supervision, participants are given the tools needed to rebuild their lives.
Ray County Drug Court is part of a broader system of treatment courts used across the country, offering an alternative to traditional prosecution for individuals struggling with substance use.
