Richmond students build confidence through Agilities lessons
From elementary classrooms to high school programs, Richmond students are learning to put words to their strengths, build confidence and connect their skills to future opportunities.
Richmond educators are using the Agilities framework, a system built around 10 work-based skills found in every job, to help students identify their strengths and begin connecting those skills to real-world experiences.
“We initially encountered the Agilities when researching how other districts with internship, work-based learning and job shadow programs were preparing students for those programs,” said Richmond School District Instructional Coach Sally Burnett. “We discovered several schools were using Agilities as a part of their onboarding process.”
