Two seek one Crystal Lakes Road District seat
Two candidates are on the ballot for one seat on the Crystal Lakes Special Road District in the April 7 municipal election.
The candidates are Ron Smith and Chris Reynolds.
To give voters a better understanding of candidates’ views, The Standard requested all candidates answer several questions. However, Reynolds did not respond when contacted using phone numbers provided by Ray County Clerk’s Office.
Smith is a resident of Crystal Lakes and works for T&W Tire as a semi-trailer mechanic, where he also performs Department of Transportation inspections. He attended high school in Washington State and later served in the United States Navy. He has worked as a welder and fabricator since age 17, including during his military service and previously owned and operated a welding business in Alaska for 17 years.
