Aldermen spots to be filled in Camden

Voters will decide two separate Camden alderman races during the April 7 municipal election, with one seat for a one-year term and another for a two-year term. Candidates for the oneyear term, which includes one seat, are Karen Baker and Rachel Roberts. Candidates for the two-year term, which includes two seats, are Katrina Jordan, Kimberly Edney and Tony L. Barchers. To provide voters with more insight, Richmond News requested all candidates answer questions. However, Jordan, Barchers and Roberts did not respond to the questionnaire. Edney, 49, holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and business and works as a sales operations manager at KCTV5. She has lived in Ray County for 22 years and in Camden for five years.
