McGaugh reports House vote on health plans, files term limits proposal
Missouri State Rep.
Peggy McGaugh, who is serving in her final session, recently highlighted the House’s passage of House Bill 2596 and outlined additional legislative proposals in a Capitol report detailing progress during the current session.
McGaugh, a Republican from Carrollton, represents the 7th District, which includes parts of Ray County, Carroll, Linn and Livingston. House Committee Substitute for House Bill 2596 was recently passed by the House by a vote of 145 yes, 0 no and 13 absent.
“ It has been a productive week at the Capitol with real progress on bills I am sponsoring that support Missouri’s small businesses, bring practical relief to local taxpayers and strengthen our legislative process,” the report states. “ As I serve in what will be my final session in the Missouri House, it is my priority to make sure you are taken care of and the legislators ahead are equipped with the knowledge and resources to best serve Missourians.”
