Richmond man denied bond in kidnapping, assault case
A Richmond man accused in a violent domestic incident will remain in custody after a judge denied his request to modify the conditions of his bond.
Caleb Wayne Hall, 25, is charged with four felonies, including first-degree domestic assault, second-degree kidnapping, first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle and third-degree domestic assault. He is also facing a misdemeanor of fourth-degree domestic assault. Hall recently appeared before Eighth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Lori J. Baskins, who declined to modify his bond and ordered he remain held without bond, citing concerns his release would pose a risk to the safety of the community and the alleged victim.
Hall is scheduled for a preliminary hearing at 2 p.m. on Feb. 17.
