Community voting has recognized both a local pastor and the church he leads for their impact beyond Sunday services. Pastor Art Endsley has been named a top-three nominee for Best Local Hero in the Love Local Legends Contest, while Orrick Christian Church was selected as the winner for Best Place to Worship. The Town and Country Leader hosts the contest each year to recognize individuals and organizations making an impact in the community, with two rounds of voting: open write-in nominations followed by a final ballot to determine the winners in each category.
