Holiday program serves 40 Ray County children
Shop with a Sheriff continued its holiday giving tradition in Ray County this year, reaching a new milestone: serving 40 children through a program built on community donations and partnerships.
According to Ray County Sheriff’s Office Captain Amy Sisson, the increase in participation marked a noticeable jump from previous years and reflected both growing need and strong local support “Seeing participation grow to 40 kids means a great deal to our office,” said Sisson. “It tells us the need is real, but it also shows the strength of our community. The fact local citizens, businesses and partner agencies came together to support that many children speaks volumes about Ray County. For us, it reinforces why programs like this matter and why we continue to invest our time and energy into them.”
