Groundbreaking marks next step for 911 services
Ray County officials and residents recently gathered to celebrate a milestone as ground was broken for the new Ray County 911 Emergency Dispatch Center. The modern facility will replace the aging dispatch building at 102 West North Main Street and is designed to provide secure, uninterrupted service during any emergency.
The groundbreaking ceremony included remarks from project partners and local officials who reflected on the years of planning that made the project possible. Representatives from Centric Construction Group LLC joined Ray County 911 staff, board members and community leaders at the site on East Main Street and Matt Waller Drive.
