Norborne Hardin-Central’s quest for a perfect season in varsity 8-man football continues.
The Aggies are 7-0 overall entering their meeting Friday with Braymer/ Breckenridge/Southwest of Livingston County at Braymer. Their most recent victory was a 48-8 Oct. 10 thumping of the Thunder, a co-op consisting of Brunswick, Keytesville and Northwestern of Mendon.
END OF THE SEASON Zachary Baldauf’s first season as Richmond’s varsity girls tennis coach officially ended Monday.
The Spartans opened the dual, or “team,” portion of the Class 1 District 7 Tournament with a win by forfeit over Holden and then lost to tournament host Odessa – also by forfeit. Odessa was scheduled to play Knob Noster in the semifinals of the single-elimination, postseason tournament, per the MSHSAA website.
