Break-in suspects face judge
A string of late-night vehicle break-ins across Richmond has led to felony charges after police recovered stolen property, surveillance footage and witness statements linking two suspects to the crimes, according to court documents.
Richmond residents Maddyson Ann Fisher and Makhi Emmanuel Chebar White are each charged with five counts of second-degree burglary, one felony count of stealing and two misdemeanor counts of stealing property valued under $150.
The pair made separate initial appearances earlier this week before Eighth Judicial Circuit Judge Lori J. Baskins, where both entered not-guilty pleas. The following day, they also appeared for bond modification hearings; however, details from those proceedings were not available as of press time.
