Brody Fifer is helping to change how undefeated Norborne Hardin-Central (NHC) attacks defenses in varsity 8-man football. Example: NHC’s 38-12 Sept. 19 road win over Missouri Highway 10 rival Orrick. Officially, Fifer led the Aggies (4-0 overall) in rushing with 114 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries. But the Hardin-Central junior also completed 12 of 19 passes for 125 yards and three touchdowns, with one interception. “In my time as a head coach, and before me, NHC has traditionally been a run-heavy team,” Aggies coach Andrew Watson stated Tuesday via email. “This year, Brody, our receivers and coaching staff have invested a lot of time in building up our passing game to help us be more explosive and balanced on that side of the ball.
