THE BEST IS YET TO COME Norborne Hardin-Central (NHC) varsity 8-man football coach Andrew Watson is convinced the Aggies’ best games are ahead of them. Watson made that opinion known after NHC’s 60-16 Sept. 16 victory over Santa Fe in Alma. Brody Fifer helped lead the Aggies to the win by completing eight of 10 passes for 157 yards and three touchdowns. “We came out and played physical, and I thought our boys did a nice job of executing their assignments throughout the night,” Watson stated Monday via email. “That being said, we still haven’t reached our full potential. We’ve got to continue improving and fine-tuning the small details, and that’s where our focus is, moving forward.” The Aggies (3-0) will continue to pursue their “full potential” Friday, when they’ll face Orrick on the road.
