The future of Orrick schools, in the eyes of Superintendent Chris Russo, will be built on a foundation of resilience, respect for tradition and an ambitious drive toward academic excellence. Russo said those elements will define his long-term vision for the district. “Orrick is a close community that has endured many challenges over the years,” said Russo. “From flooding to tornadoes to fires, the community has grown closely together through struggle and challenge. I was not part of any of those things; however, I can see how close the ties are within the community.
