Local churches invite community to 816 Music Celebration
Richmond residents will soon have the chance to raise their voices, tap their feet and celebrate the music and community spirit that define the 816 area.
Faith Lutheran Church and United Christian Presbyterian Church are inviting everyone to gather downtown for an evening of fellowship, live music and hometown pride.
“We wanted to celebrate the vibrant community and rich culture of the 816 area,” said Faith Lutheran Evangelism Chairperson Cierra Miller. “Faith Lutheran is committed to fostering connections and 816 Day provided the perfect opportunity to bring people together through music and community spirit.”
The 816 Music Celebration will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., Aug. 16, at the Downtown Pavilion on the north side of the Richmond Square. Miller noted the event is free and open to anyone in the community.
“No need to RSVP; although, we do recommend bringing your own seating and being ready for a great time,” stated Miller.
