Four complete Ray County Drug Court, find new direction

Editor’s note: This is the final of a two-part series about Ray County Drug Court. Last week’s edition explored the program’s history, structure and treatment philosophy. Part two highlights the reflections and recovery stories of the 38th graduating class. Four Ray County residents stood before a courtroom filled with supporters, not to face sentencing, but to celebrate a second chance. The recent graduation ceremony honored D’Andre Williams, Landon Dickey, Randy Estenbaun and Ashley Roth – the 38th class to complete the Ray County Drug Court program. Each graduate shared ways treatment, accountability and community support reshaped their lives. Their stories varied in background and personality, but all conveyed the same message: change is possible and recovery is worthwhile. Eighth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Kevin L.
