When Bay Area needed to score touchdowns Monday night against San Diego, the Panthers turned to Richmond graduate Trevon Alexander. Alexander scored five touchdowns during the Panthers’ 46-38 Indoor Football League loss to the Strike Force in Front Wave Arena. His first was a 6-yard run that helped Bay Area cut San Diego’s lead to 14-7 early in the second quarter. He then contributed four secondhalf TD receptions. Alexander and his Bay Area teammates will look to rebound from Monday’s loss Friday, when they’ll host the Vegas Knight Hawks in San Jose, Calif.
