MoDOT extends Route T project timeline

Posted in:
Drivers who travel Missouri Route T in Fleming should plan for continued detours as crews replace a nearly century-old bridge over Panther Creek. The Missouri Department of Transportation began construction at 7 a.m. Monday, May 5, and now expects work to last into early September. The project was originally scheduled to wrap up by July 14 but has been extended due to updates in the construction schedule. Traffic will continue to be detoured to Missouri Highway 10 and Missouri Highway 210. All work is weather permitting. The existing bridge was built in 1933 and has reached the end of its service life. Approximately 400 vehicles cross the structure daily. Motorists are reminded to slow down and stay alert in work zones. Not all work zones look the same. They can include short-term lane closures to complete repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
