Rayville man facing felony charges released on bond
A Rayville man has been released from jail after posting bond for two felony charges, one involving a child.
A warrant for the arrest of Dustin F.E. Racy, 37 was issued last week by Eighth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Lori J. Baskins for two felonies, including first-degree endangering the welfare of a child, no sexual contact, and second-degree domestic assault.
On Monday, Racy was arrested for these charges and posted a bond of $5,000 hours later. Because Racy posted bond before an initial court date was determined, he will not appear for his first hearing until 9:30 a.m. on April 22.
On March 8, Ray County Sheriff’s Officer Deputies Derek Case and Martinez were dispatched to a residence for a reported physical disturbance.
