Recently, acts of kindness and love for one another have been so abundant in our county that I wonder if time is ever taken to acknowledge how blessed we are to live and work here. We take care of each other, celebrate successes together, and extend a helping hand in times of need. It’s not just the picturesque landscapes or the thriving local businesses that make this place special – it’s the people. It’s the way neighbors look out for one another, how volunteers step up without hesitation and the way we rally around those facing hardship. It’s found in all firefighters, both fulltime and volunteer, as well as first responders who risk their lives to keep us safe. It’s present in the small business owners who not only support their families but also sponsor Little League teams, contribute to local fundraisers, and create jobs for our community.
