School district discusses performance report results

Throughout the last three years, the Richmond R-XVI School District has demonstrated a consistent upward trajectory in its Annual Performance Report (APR). Richmond R-XVI School District Superintendent Dr. Bryan Copple and Assistant Superintendent Trey Cavanah provided an in-depth analysis of the latest APR data during a recent school board meeting, they highlighted several key strengths and identified specific areas needing attention. The Performance Score evaluates student achievement, attendance, graduation rates, categorical growth and career readiness at various stages of the K-12 education system. When Copple became superintendent of the R-XVI District in the summer of 2022, the district’s APR stood at 57.0. Over the next two years, the APR significantly improved, rising to 70.9, marking an increase of 13.9 percentage points.
