Board members tour Dear Elementary School
Richmond School Board recently explored various modifications made to Dear Elementary School and received detailed updates on the current state of the classrooms. The tour provided insight into the enhancements designed to create a more effective learning environment for students, showcasing new resources and teaching strategies in action. Board members were able to engage with staff and discuss positive impacts of these changes on student outcomes.

Marlaine Boyd led the group through the building, pointing out various classrooms and activity spaces. The focus was on ways different teaching styles work together to provide the best learning experience for the district’s pre-kindergarten through first-grade students.
