American Legion honors veterans

Richmond American Legion Post 237 recently hosted a heartfelt Veterans Day service to honor the brave men and women who have served in the armed forces. The event began with a solemn flag-raising ceremony accompanied by the stirring notes of the national anthem. Participants then recited the Pledge of Allegiance and joined in prayer, reinforcing the values of patriotism and unity. “Lord God Almighty, we gather here this morning, joining cities across the nation to honor those who have served this wonderful country,” prayed Post 237 Chaplin Darrin Daniel. “We come before you with gratitude, thanking you for the privilege of being part of this incredible nation that you have entrusted to us.
