Musselman scores first ‘big man touchdown’

Kody Musselman had a special moment during Norborne Hardin-Central’s (NHC’s) 72-12 Week 7 thumping of the Keytesville/Brunswick/Northwestern of Mendon co-op in varsity 8-man football: He scored what NHC coach Andrew Watson called “a big man touchdown.” Musselman, a Hardin-Central sophomore, scored his touchdown by recovering a fumble in the Keytesville/ Brunswick/Northwestern end zone. “All I had to really do was fall on it,” he said Monday at Hardin-Central on the practice field. It was the first defensive touchdown for Musselman, who called the moment “very exciting.” “Hope I get to feel it again,” he said.
