Richmond R-XVI School District holds meal application raffle

To attempt ensuring every student has access to healthy meals, the Richmond R-XVI School District hosted its inaugural raffle for Meal Applications. The prizes up for grabs included a Sony PS5 Video Game Console and a 65” Vizio Smart TV, aiming to encourage more students to participate in the meal program. The event was available to every family that submitted an application and took place at the District Central Office on October 9th. Jaxx Hicks, a fifth-grade student at Sunrise Elementary, and Memphis Williams, a first-grade student at Dear Elementary, were chosen at random to receive the raffle prizes.
